Front-End Developer

Your role within our Kingdom
You will be part of a research and development team consisting of Developers, Data Scientists and Machine Learning experts that create innovative solutions for both our games and business functions. You will develop real-time applications and tools to support our internal analytics organization by combining a natural talent and interest of user experience with high-quality code. The team's mission is to help the company to make informed decisions on a wide spectrum of challenges and initiatives.As our Frontend Developer, you are not afraid to embrace our DevOps methodology: you promote your code to our production systems and look after it while in production. As part of the team, you will enjoy a creative, challenging and collaborative environment where your ideas will be every bit as valued as your programming expertise.We know that the continued success of King depends on preserving the amazing culture we have, so 'fit' is extremely important. We work in small, collaborative teams where everyone is involved in coming up with great features and ownership of the outcome is key. We are problem solvers, constantly reviewing how and why we do things and learning from each other. We are experimental, trying out new tech and ideas and willing to take risks to drive the entire industry forward.
Skills to create thrills
Experienced in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React and web development.Focused on usability, maintainability and quality, building long-term solutions. A comfortable people person, able to make non-technical users feel at ease. Able to see a user experience from the user's point of view, and craft UIs to make their lives easier. Knowledgeable about web protocols, application servers and web servers. Used to TDD, UNIX environments, Github and Jenkins. A team player that likes to discuss solutions and ideas. Structured and analytical. Fluent in English.
Bonus points
Familiar with Java. Have worked on a project for high scalability sites. Have worked with real-time systems. Have played and enjoyed any of our games.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
