You will become part of an international team of employees working in the Group Compliance function and work primarily with the compliance disciplines covering the key risks investor protection, financial crime, data protection, conflicts of interest and market abuse. We are looking both for a Managing Compliance Officer for Corporate & Institutional Compliance as well as a Managing Compliance Officer for Banking Compliance.

Drive execution, support employees and ensure development
As Managing Compliance Officer, you will report to the Head of Banking Compliance or the Global Head of Corporate & Institutional Compliance and manage a team of highly dedicated employees in Stockholm. Your overall responsibilities will be to provide direction and clear purpose to the employees in the teams by information sharing, support and coaching the employees and to ensure the development of professional and personal skills for the employees in the team. Furthermore, you will proactively manage and oversee identification, assessment, mitigation and reporting of compliance risks.
Monitoring and coordinating activities for the team and in co-operation with the Group Compliance organisation apply your planning and organizing skills is also a part of your work. You will ensure stakeholder communication and management and maintain an understanding of the business, Group policies, processes and procedures to ensure the impact of how regulatory issues can be effectively assessed. You will stay abreast of all legislative and regulatory developments, both locally and globally. Overall, you should see compliance work as a value creation supporting the business, making compliance a business enabler, and at the same demonstrate high integrity in the work.
As a Managing Compliance Officer for Banking Compliance your role will include working as a Compliance Country Coordinator for Sweden. The primary tasks for the Country Coordinator is to coordinate and report across business units to the Country Management in Sweden. Secondary the Country Coordinator ensures that the Country Management regularly receives information regarding compliance related issues as well as provide advice and support. Finally, the Country Coordinator is responsible for coordination of communication regarding compliance issues with the FSA and also facilitates the work of taking into account country specific regulations when Group policies and directives are designed.
Who are you?
As a person, you have good cultural, social and interpersonal skills and are able to perform in a complex environment with many stakeholders. It is key to the position that you have a strong integrity and a capacity to work independently, whilst remaining a team player. You have a good understanding of compliance, risk and/or legal issues.
The position would require that you are able to maintain a holistic approach and manage to create overview and assess several issues at the same time requiring you to be highly organised and structured. Moreover, you are trustworthy in appearance and communication, and able to communicate with simplicity, purpose and real intent. Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language (written and spoken) is a requirement combined with overall good written communication skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
