A wide range of loan transactions
In a specialised team with experienced colleagues, you work on various types of financing transactions. It will include financing solutions that caters for the ongoing and most basic financing needs, but also more complex loan transactions, in which you will work with a Director and lead the day-to-day project management, with the purpose for financing acquisitions and/or other types of investments. In addition, as you most likely have a few years of banking experience you are expected to guide and coach the less experienced analysts in the team in order for them to grow and develop. Meaning, you will take on tasks that are at the project management level and the most complex tasks of the analyst group, with the ambition of becoming a Director in the future.
The work includes pre-positioning, credit evaluation, structuring and pricing and presentation of the proposal. The work is always done in dedicated client teams together with the Senior Banker/Relationship Manager for each client. However, many of the larger transactions involve other areas of the bank as well, such as DCM and Corporate Finance.
Who are you?
You most likely have an MSc in Business or equivalent ? but what matters more is that you can demonstrate a strong academic track record combined with an analytical mind-set and strong entrepreneurial drive.
It is important that you are a team player, with an outgoing personality, and have excellent communication skills, as you will be in touch with a number of different internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis. Fluency in English is a requirement as we operate in an international environment and proficiency in Swedish is expected from the likely candidate. In addition, comprehensive experience in financial modelling and analysis is an advantage. In a competitive market such as ours, things can get hectic from time to time ? that is why it is important that you are able to perform well under stress and have a strong desire to excel and deliver.
