Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Lead and execute our Nordic clinical science team's overall mission to grow our diagnostic imaging business and customer satisfaction by fostering collaboration and providing knowledge, support and innovative solutions that can maximize our customers' research potential. You accomplish this by exploring new technical and clinical innovations mainly within MR together with your team of clinical scientist and by collaborating closely with Philips R&D, our customers and researchers globally.
You are responsible for
Leading a team of clinical scientist mainly within MR
Executing your own clinical science customer projects within MR (up to 50%) and be an ambassador for your research sites towards Philips
Collaborating with medical doctors and physicist to provide technical and research support for their research projects and publications
Developing, promoting and selling research related services and solutions and administer contracts and project P&L
Providing expert support to the sales teams in tenders and customer interactions and advise them on new clinical and technical developments
Building and maintaining active relationships with our customers and partners including organizing successful events and courses
Networking and spreading ideas and innovations across customers in the Nordics and between Philips R&D and the global clinical science teams and fostering collaboration between institutes with mutual research interests
You are part of
Our Nordic Education and Clinical Science organization, consisting of around 25 colleagues responsible for supporting and educating our medical imaging customers in the Nordic countries. Your own team of clinical scientist consists of 5-6 highly trained and talented individuals working at customer sites across the Nordics focusing mainly on MR and CT. You report directly to the Nordic Head of Education and Clinical Science based in Stockholm.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
A degree in biomedical engineering, medical physics or equivalent, preferably a PhD or similar documented research experience
Extensive practical experience of MR in a clinical and/or research environment, preferably on a Philips MR system
Programming skills and experience of pulse programming
At least 5 years of experience working in a clinical, academic or industrial research environment
Preferably some experience of a leadership or people manager position
Excellent verbal and written language skills in a Scandinavian language and English
Excellent interpersonal skills and good speaker/presenter skills
Willingness to travel internationally

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
