The role of the Installation Excellence Engineer is to ensure Elekta's Treatment Delivery Solution products are installed to the highest of standards by fully trained and certified engineers in the most time and cost-efficient manner. It is the responsibility of the Installation Excellence Engineer to work alongside the Regional Installation Teams, Product Management, Technical Training, Service Engineering, Product Supply Centre's (PSC's) and Quality Assurance departments to ensure that the Elekta products, technical training, process and procedures are designed, developed and implemented with installation consideration, enabling the Global Operations, Installations Department to deliver and install efficiently, effectively and to the highest quality standards.
The Installation Excellence Engineer is responsible for the quality control of the installations being done by the Installation Engineers. They are responsible for the technical development, training and certification of the Installation Engineers within Regions, Distributors and Partners for both current and future products. The Excellence Engineers are responsible for individual Training Development Plans for engineer's refresher training on the existing product portfolio as well as ensuring that the Installations Teams are trained and ready to be deployed to install any new products upon release.
The Installation Excellence Engineer must continually challenge existing installation methodology, equipment, training, logistics and products to identify quality, time, cost and customer satisfaction improvements.
Responsibilities
Manage the continual development, training & certification of Elekta Engineer, Distributor Installation Engineers and Partner Install Engineers through suitable training courses and assessments to ensure that the Elekta suite of products are being installed in a consistent, uniform way and to the highest standards.
Facilitate or deliver advanced technical training, techniques and support to the Regional Installation Engineers.
Carry out, when required, installations of Elekta products, particularly first of a kind product installations and Beta testing.
Support new product introductions into the field and ensure the Installation teams are trained and ready to be deployed at the release date of the Product.
Review deficiencies that have been noted during the installation and are investigated and driven through to a satisfactory resolution and conclusion.
Ensure that Regional Elekta Installation Engineers, Distributor Installation Engineers and Partners carry out the installation in accordance with Elekta's instructions and processes and that all required reports, installation certificates, paperwork and Work Orders are completed and returned.
Obtain feedback from the field through audits, meetings, reports, CFR's, KPI's, phone calls, emails, etc. for any product, documentation, training, quality, process and procedure improvements and developments to the Project Management team and each of the Elekta PSC's and ensure that this is driven through to a satisfactory resolution.
Support & advise the installation team, in the field, remotely or on site when and where necessary.
Be the point of contact for Regional Installation Engineers when quality issues are found for immediate resolution with the respective PSC.
Conduct spot audits & observations of Installation Engineers during/throughout installations to ensure technical competence, QA process and best practice are being met & the highest quality installation is being delivered.
Visit selective post installation sites to perform audits on the machine and discuss with the customer & local Service organization their installation experience, feeding back to the Installation Director & PSC's where and when required.
Meet regularly with Product Management, Technical Training and PSC's to discuss on-going product & quality issues, improvements, developments & releases.
Provide feedback to the Regional Installations Director on how to become more effective, responsive, efficient and improve product reliability, quality and customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain an installation target time calculator to measure installation time performance against set KPI's.
Manage the installation equipment requirements and ensure the most efficient equipment is being used, adding any required additional equipment to the kits when new products are released.
Provide regular progress reports for management and engineers review.
Ensure that all support performed by Elekta staff and representatives is performed in accordance with the local laws and regulations.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies

Higher National Diploma in Engineering, Physics or equivalent experience.
Experience with administering training
Must be highly motivated, dynamic, multitasking and be a good problem solver.
Must have a strong customer focus with excellent customer service skills.

Technical management of Elekta's radiotherapy equipment in the field or in a hospital setting

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Other languages desirable.
Demonstrable drive and commitment to Elekta and the tasks in hand.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to travel (domestic and international) up to 60%.
Competent and confident to represent the Elekta company brand.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
