Fintech Engagement Manager Stockholm

As Fintech Partnership Engagement Manager, you will be one of the key drivers for delivering on this agenda and engage in new Fintech partnerships for Danske Bank Group together with relevant development units.
You will be part of a group partnership team, which acts as a center of excellence for partnerships across the bank. The team currently consists of eight people, which are based out of Copenhagen. With the responsibility for Sweden, you will work out of Stockholm, and sit close to the local Swedish partnerships team.
Responsibilities and duties
As a Fintech Engagement Manager you will have direct responsibility for establish strong network within the Swedish and Nordic Fintech community to position Danske Bank as preferred partner. You will proactively engage new Fintech partnerships in collaboration with relevant units and markets either as project lead or trusted advisor. To build productive trust relationships and explore opportunities for value creation/maximization during the initial partnership engagement phase is important in this role.
Your ongoing focus will be on advising business units on potential partnerships, investments or acquisitions and access the technical capabilities of the companies as well as business opportunity. By coordinating work with a network of trusted internal advisors and experts within legal, procurement, IT, etc. for support on legal contracts, tech and partnership structuring, you ensure solid collaboration with our teams.
We expect you to deliver ongoing reports to provide market insights and monitor progress on key activities, metrics and report to our key stakeholders. Furthermore, you will work with extended partnership teams to build consistencies, standards and simplify in how we work.
Skills and required experience
As a Fintech Partnership Engagement Manager, you are an excellent communicator with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong network within the Swedish or Nordic Fintech community which you can leverage in partnership engagements. We expect you to have a higher education of 3-5 years duration within a relevant technical field and at least 5 years working experience of which some directly related to IT and partnerships. You have a solid understanding of banking and how Fintech partnerships can strengthen Danske Bank's value proposition.
Excellent skills in presenting with the ability to build and deliver convincing pitch presentations at partner meetings is a key attribute for this role. You have a substantial track record of building successful partnerships and the ability to engage at c-level partner discussions and negotiations. Furthermore, you have a structured way of working with attention to detail, the ability to establish sense of urgency, and a flare for "the perfect timing". Swedish and English language skills, in both spoken and written is essential for this position. To thrive in this role you have a win-win mindset and care for delivering a superior partner experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
